Live On Purpose - 5 Step GuideTo Designing A Life Roadmap

Do you ever catch your self thinking about what life could have been like if you would have done a few things differently ? Do you ever wonder what will come your way in two, five, ten years? Or do you have a road map carefully designed to lead you in the direction you want to go and already know where you will be in years to come.

Sadly, most people don't live their life on purpose, they simply wake up every morning and do the same 'live for today' activities day in and day out. When presented with an opportunity they will not invest in themselves but they will go spend on themselves.

We must decide to live on purpose. Everyday is an opportunity to do something great with ourselves. Every day can be used as one step toward our goals. Hundreds of years ago, Socrates, arguably one of the worlds greatest minds was approached by a young man and asked " How do I get to Mount Olympus? " after a few seconds of thinking Socrates looks up at the young man and responds "One step at a time". Wise advice from an individual who was clearly way ahead of his time. With that said I'm going to give you 5 important steps in no particular order to consider when designing a road map for your life.

1. What would you do if you knew you could not fail? On paper, write down three things that you would like to accomplish before your life is over. Try to keep it realistic, if you are 40 years old and never touched a golf club in your life, you obviously don't want to write down winning the PGA tour. Writing your goals down on paper not only gives you better clarity of what it is you want to do with your life, it also gives you a destination point, an ending. Write down how much money you want to make, places you want to visit, things you want to do. Make sure you look at your goals daily, write them down as often as you would like, let them enter your conscious and sub-conscious mind.

2. Decide to develop successful habits, do away with bad habits such as too much TV or over shopping and replace them with good habits such as educating you mind daily and regular exercise. You will be surprised to know that 3.5 hours of TV daily amounts to over 45 days a year. Scary.

3. Make sure to schedule quality time for the people you love. I assure you no one in their death bed regrets not spending enough time working. Life comes and goes quickly, make sure you have plenty of time for family and close friends. Yes work is important, yes you must earn a living. The internet is a powerful tool that can be used to leverage your time, if you are reading this article then you can earn six figures from home.

4. Educate yourself. Not much more to it, instead of spending hours mesmerized in front of the TV take a few hours a week to read inspirational and informative material. Think of a car, when the oil is dirty in the car we replace it with new and cleaner oil resulting in a well maintained machine. Our minds are not much different if you want a successful life read about successful people find out what they did, what their habits are, where they go, what they read and soon you will be one of them.

5. Have fun. Lets face it, all work no play is no way to live.
I hope the above material is helpful to anyone looking for direction in their life. These are not the only things to consider but definitely they are some of the more important ones.

How To Stop Snoring Naturally - My Top 5 Tips

If you want to stop snoring without the need for sprays or appliances, here are my top 5 tips on how to stop snoring naturally. Not every tip works for all, you will sometimes find one that works, or maybe a combination of things. The important thing is to keep at it until you find something that works for you

1. Loose weight - yes believe it or not, extra fat around the throat area can lead to muscles in the mouth and throat being very slack and allowing them to vibrate whilst sleeping causing snoring.

2. Avoid alcohol just before going to bed - I'm sure many of you will have experienced that going to bed soon after drinking a few glasses of wine or beer means your snoring will be far worse.

3. Keep a note on what you eat prior to sleeping - this will help you to find out if certain foods are causing your snoring.

4. Change your sleeping position - many people only snore when asleep in a certain position, usually on their back. The old trick of sewing a tennis ball into the back of your P.J.s is very effective here.

5. Get more exercise - regular exercise will strengthen your heart and lungs and really help stop snoring in some cases.

Hopefully these top 5 tips will give you some ideas on how you can help yourself to stop snoring naturally. One of the latest techniques that I haven't mentioned here is using special exercises to strengthen muscles in the mouth and throat. Check out my author bio for details on where you can find out more about these.

7 Business Goal Setting Tips

Even with an established business, owners must constantly set goals in order to elevate their overall productivity and profit. As the end of the year nears and everyone is settling in for the freshness of the New Year, business owners will greatly benefit when they set goals for their company during this time. Below you will find seven suggestions on the type of goals a business may consider:

1) More Efficient Delegation
When a business owner learns how to efficiently delegate tasks, overall results are much better. This is especially true when a small business owner feels the need to take on much more than they have to. In the end, they become tired, frustrated, and stressed. It is also OK to let someone else take control over the tasks owners feel they "need" to accomplish, which is part of the beauty of being in charge.

2) Business Promotion
Many small businesses fall into the pitfall of neglecting aggressive advertising and marketing. Business promotion is key for bringing in new customers, which in turn increasing overall profits. Learning how to create efficient marketing plans is a great way to bring in the New Year.

3) Weekly Business Planning
In order to foster a prosperous business, instead of doing monthly and yearly assessments, try planning on a weekly basis. This will not only help business owners find better ways on boosting productivity, but also helps in brainstorming more effective ways on how to improve a company.

4) Expand Company Knowledge
When businesses are able to learn something new on a regular basis, they are more equipped to elevate the status of their company. Enhancing the skills of not only business executives, but also the entire staff will only translate into more desirable results in the long run. It is suggested to encourage employees to seek out self-improvement and personal development by attending seminars and taking e-courses. This simple motivation given by an employer helps to increase the overall productivity and creativity within an office.

5) Consider Business Networking
Sometimes, thinking outside of the box means seeking out new business associations and networking groups in order to cultivate new thoughts and ideas, as well as finding allies within the same industry. Many business owners are able to locate and make these types of contacts over the Internet.

6) Time Management
Calendars aren't just pretty decorations for the wall - they aid employees and business owners in keeping track of the day-to-day, weekly, and monthly assignments that boost a company and makes business ventures a success. Today, there are many different tools and resources that allow a person to keep on task, including palm pilots and advanced cell phone features.

7) Setting Realistic Goals
When setting goals for business, it is important to keep expectations realistic, which is the best way to reach success instead of suffering a stressful journey towards achievement. The goals set for the next year should be attainable, which aids in creating the best environment for accomplishing objectives. For example, if your company made $75,000 in its first year, it is probably unrealistic to shoot for exceeding the $1 million mark for the next.

How Science Projects Make Your Child Smarter, Not Just More Knowledgeable

There are many ways to make your child knowledgeable. You can make your child knowledgeable by helping them memorize certain things, or having them read books, and even doing their homework. But what about making your child smarter? There is a difference between just being knowledgeable and actually being smarter. The difference is that being knowledgeable is that you have knowledge about certain things. But being smarter is being able to actually know about a variety of different subjects and knowing the details, as well as knowing how to deduct information, reason, and use analytical skills. Here are some ways how science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable.

The 1st way science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable, is you can show them how things work. They are not memorizing facts, they are internalizing ideas. Show them how the cycle of life works. Show them why the cycle of life is called the cycle of life. Show them the different point of views from the grass to the animals that eat the grass and so on. Helping them understand things by doing science projects will help them be smarter because they will know the ins and out of how things work. They will remember it longer, understand it better, and be able to apply what they learned to other things.

The 2nd way science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable, is you can discuss different science projects that you do with your child. Helping discuss different things with your children after doing science projects will help them be able to ask the appropriate questions. This way you will know what they understand and what they don't understand. Discussion sparks innovation, and encourages exploration. This will help with the next science project you do you can make sure to cover the things that they didn't understand. You can be a great teacher through science projects. You can give your child the one on one attention that can help your child be smarter not just knowledgeable. Your child will learn how to figure out where to find answers to questions, not just have an answer.

The 3rd way science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable is by doing research. Doing research helps your child understand what creates the project they are working on, and relationships these ideas have to others. For instance, if your child want to learn about volcano's and how they erupt they can do research to get more knowledge about them. In their research they will find that erupting volcanoes have more impact than lava, they affect the hemisphere, animal and plant life, etc. Once the research is over, you can actually figure out a way to build and model of a volcano and find a way to have lava spit out of it. This will help your child be smarter because through application they will grasp the concept of what they are trying to learn, not just the facts about it.

The 4th way science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable, is that science projects help children learn deductive reasoning. You use the scientific method which teaches children how to develop theories, and test them. This method does not have to just apply to science, it will spill over into all areas of their life. They will not just know more, they will know how to learn more and understand it without memorizing every detail. Just make sure that once your child starts a science project that they follow it all of the way through. This will help insure that they get all of the knowledge they need to go through all of the steps to make sure they understand how the project works to make them smarter.

All of these are how science projects make your child smarter, not just more knowledgeable. It is very important that you make sure to make time for your child. Make the time to help your child do science projects and give them insight when it is needed. Help your child to see that you are interested in science and everything science has to offer. If your child knows that you are interested and have a love for science it will make them want to be more involved in science. By having your child more involved in science will help them to be smarted not just more knowledgeable by doing science projects.

"5 Ways To Guarantee Your Network Marketing Success"

So you're looking to achieve financial freedom with your home business?

Well that's great because your network marketing success is right at your fingertips. I know this because you've been searching for it, and you finally found this letter.

I also know there are better ways to build your home business than just buying leads, holding home meetings, and bugging your friends and family members. So how else are you supposed to build a downline without knocking on doors like the UPS guy?

Simple: by becoming an attractive leader. Instead of trying to sell your opportunity to your Uncle Bob, why not build knowledge, skill, and leadership that your prospects are thirsty for? Make that your focus, and you'll have endless amount of prospects chasing you to join your downline. Use these 5 simple keys to build your own value, and you'll instantly become the hunted instead of the hunter in the network marketing industry.

Key to Network Marketing Success #1: Learn to Market.

Your prospects are hungry to learn this skill. Lead generation is the pulse of any home business. It's no wonder 97% of people fail once they've worked their warm market, and bought over-priced leads from lead companies that promised them the world.

Learn to generate 10-20 leads per day for yourself using low-cost, highly effective advertising methods such as ezines, Myspace, and blogs. You don't need to be an expert to use any one of these tools.

All you need are minor computer skills, and a resource that can teach you how to use these tools step by step. Just do a search on Google or Yahoo and you'll find tons of resources that will teach you. Pick one of these methods and spend time mastering it.

Key to Network Marketing Success #2: Find a Mentor.

This is probably the fastest way to build value and become an attractive leader. I can't say enough how crucial this is to building a massive downline.

One of the most overlooked keys to success is to find someone who is already having the same kind of results that you want. It's important that you pick a mentor that will guide you, and has leadership qualities that you can mirror and take on.

Have you noticed that when you're around someone long enough, you soon start to talk and think like them as well? Use this to your advantage.

So ask yourself, who are you hanging out with lately? Successful leaders?
Or people who are struggling and thinking negatively? Find a mentor or two you can learn from, and do everything you can to be around them.

Key to Network Marketing Success #3: Sell Yourself First.

People are bombarded with business opportunities everyday, and you're going to have a hard time separating yourself from the pack. It can be an agonizing uphill battle to sell your opportunity.

The best way to overcome this hurdle is to sell yourself first. Be an attractive leader to your prospects by sharing your knowledge with them before ever mentioning your opportunity and products. Gain their trust by teaching them how to build a business before asking for anything in return.

Show them information, solutions, and a system they can use to be successful with. By doing this, you sell yourself as a trustworthy and knowledgeable mentor that people will want to work with. As human beings, we're naturally attracted to leaders.

Now you may be asking "how do I educate and give valuable information to others when I'm not that successful?" The answer lies in the next key...

Key to Network Marketing Success #4: Continue to Learn.

The network marketing industry is always evolving and always changing. It's on a continuous growth, and so should you. Stay current by reading newsletters, articles, courses, and attending live seminars.

If you're new to the industry, then your objective at this point should be education! A vast majority of your time should be going towards learning. If you've been in network marketing for a while, then always be increasing your value.

You don't want to get left behind.

When was the last time you purchased a marketing book and really studied it? Do it now if you haven't. Once you stop learning, you stop growing. Once you stop growing, so does your income!

Key to Network Marketing Success #5: Don't Give Up So Quickly.

It's so easy to get discouraged early and get off track. You hear all the hype about people making multiple six figures within their first month of business. Unfortunately, some people hang all of their hopes on that hype, and bounce around from opportunity to opportunity.

Sooner or later, they'll have to realize that it's not the business or the product that's failing. It is themselves. The network marketing industry suffers from an alarming downline attrition rate, which means most people that join a business leave it within the first few months!

Understand that network marketing success is like learning to play an instrument. It rarely happens overnight, and it takes a lot of practice. Sure you can make a lot of money within your first year if you do things right, but you have to take small and measurable steps first.

Dedicate yourself to grow your business every single day, even if it means spending just 30 minutes on it. Study, listen, read, attend conference calls, and prospect on the phone.

The Mediterranean Diet 5-Step Plan

For hundreds of years, the people of the Mediterranean have enjoyed health and long life on a diet of rich and delicious foods. Take France for instance, a country that doesn't know the meaning of the word diet yet has a rate of obesity less that 10%. Compare that to America, the most diet-crazed nation in the world, where obesity affects over a quarter of the population and continues to rise. Fortunately you can enjoy the same benefits of the Mediterranean Diet by following the 5 easy steps outlined below.

1. Eat real food
Many diets have you counting calories or calculating fat and carb ratios and not even thinking about the quality of the food you eat. We were meant to eat foods found in nature, not the laboratory. Artificial and refined foods confuse our body by filling us with empty calories and no real substance. As a result, our body make us eat more and more as it looks for the nutrition it needs and stores all of the excess calories as fat. Not a pretty picture.

2. Choose the right fats
Our body is very good at burning fat and storing only what it needs as long as we eat enough of the right fats. Ironically a low- or no-fat diet can send our body into panic mode and actually force it to store more fat than it burns. But not all fats are created equal. The saturated fats and hydrogenated oils found in most processed foods just clog our arteries and increase our risk of heart-disease. Heart-healthy fats and oils found in foods like olives, fish and nuts which dominate the Mediterranean Diet menu actually help regulate cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

3. Slow down
How you eat is just as important as what you eat. When we wolf down our food we often eat past the point when we become full. This chronic overeating stresses our metabolism and pushes it into food-storage mode. The Mediterranean Diet teaches us how to take our time and really enjoy our food. This stress-free approach to food helps our body use rather than store what we feed it.

4. Share a bottle
In addition to making a meal more relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine with food and friends can actually be good for you. Studies show that a glass or two of wine a dayhelps maintain healthy levels of cholesterol and can reduce the risk of heart-attacks by 50%.

5. Take a walk
Long before gym memberships and Pilates classes, the people of the Mediterranean stayed healthy with a simple, moderately active lifestyle. Adding regular activity like walking, dancing or biking to the food choices and eating habits of the Mediterranean Diet will give you a healthy lifestyle that's fun and easy to maintain.

How To Be Supremely Smart

If you've just graduated college, you've probably begun hiding away all those books and papers. Finally: freedom!! It's time to get really rich and make a name for yourself. Career. That's the real world, right?

Wrong.
Graduation is no excuse to stop the learning process. Failure to study is folly! The new information your constantly process determines your edge in life. School learning is static and often decades out of date.
Here's how to grow your IQ by 50%- after college.

1) Keep a book handy.
Thousands are released every year. Pick two close to your passions every month. Update yourself. Build your skillset to make yourself interesting and indispensable to to your associates.

2) Maintain a "To-Learn" List
Break out of your comfort zone! It's fine to develop your core competencies, but too much of one thing makes you a dull boy. The most dynamic thinkers and leaders maintain a list of new challenges to tackle: like learning a new language, to scaling Mount Everest. Having new goals will revitalize you!

3) Expand Your Base of Intellectual Friends
Hanging out with dullards is contagious. Notice how being around folks who spout nonesense forces you to lower yourself to their level? Upgrade your companions and their skills, ideas and passions trickle down to you. More than reading books, I achieved mastery of everything from dancing tango to deliverying firey speeches through my associations

4) Modeling The Greats
Got a project? There's no point re-inventing the wheel. Learn how the masters did it and build upon their methods. You'll quickly and readily discover how to get things done fast. Then you can move on to even bigger fish.

5) Practice practice practice
You'll never learn how to shoot a gun by reading a book. Drop that book after you get the theory down pat. Walk to your shooting range and squeeze a few shots! That's when textbook learning leads to magnificent mastery.

6) Mentor Your Colleagues
I've built my negotiation skillset by passing on tips to those who blunder like bulls at boardrooms. Know what? Each time I did so, I actually found myself weaving ever more enticing spiels that led to more satisfying win-win outcomes! Teach others and you grow. Empowerment is mutual!

5 Points To Identify Failure

5 points to identify a predetermined failure (for all fields and scopes) By Noam Mankowitz (Pmcc) Founder / Head Coach www.inner-view.org Personal website for more details www.inner-view.org/noam

"Your only limitations are those you set up in your mind, or permit others to set up for you." Mandino

Also we are coaches' we are also human, and as all humans we face challenges and responsibilities on a daily basis. We face taking action toward achieving our goals, whether personal of business.

We need to take marketing and promotional actions to help us build a successful coaching practice, we need to go out and network, we need to call past clients asking for references, we need to hand out more business cards, we all know what it is we need to be doing, but do we?

Don't forget that what Seneca said: "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult"

Clients turn to us for the exact reasons; they need help to get to where it is they want to go. And part of our job as coaches' is to help our clients recognize and identify a predetermined failure so they can help themselves in the future.

Before giving you the 5 points to identify a predetermined failure, we will have to understand what failure is for we know that "A man sees the world not as it is, but as he is" We all have a different perspective to what is failure so take a sec and think to your self what is failure for you? I do recommend that when the issue comes up in a session; ask your client also this question.

Before we move on one way to overcome fear is to get familiar with its origin So here is the origin of the word failure: The word failure comes originally from French 500-600 years ago where it was Failure - which means short off, and not meeting the expectations. Later the word fail was first used in the English language by the British poet H. Maundrell, how wrote "the time would fail me to tell Gideon" Which meant - I have so much to tell but so little time, I won't be able to meet my wanting. Later on failure was linked to power failure, and lightning failure, which meant it won't achieve its fall power.

OK now let's get into business; here are the 5 points to identify a predetermined failure:

1. Negativity
Negativity towards ourselves, towards our writing, and towards those around us is a warning for a predetermined failure. Try to focus on the positive, and remind yourselves that you are making steps to promote your dream. Many succeeded, why not you? If you experience bay criticism of your writings, remember that there are millions of people in the world, and millions of opinions. For your information, Henry Ford, Donald Trump, Rubin Sharma, J. K. Roiling and even Madonna, tried and tried many times, without success, until the big moment.

2. Blaming an outside element
It isn't me; it's the parents, the education, the book companies, the environment, recession and the country. Right? Wrong. The responsibility for your life is in your hands, and not in anyone else's. Life is yours, the dream is yours, and don't expect anyone else to live you life, or bring everything all the way to you. So take responsibility and make the first steps to make your dream a reality, only you have the power. Don't forget - "a man is not remembered for his secret thoughts". Erica Jong said: "Take your life in your own hands and what happens? A terrible thing: no one to blame"

3. Labeling yourself
I'm not skillful, I'm not smart, I don't have it, I don't have any imagination, I'm unlucky, I'm not interesting, I'm not an author... many of us label ourselves and thus doom their fate. Usually it's simply a self fulfilling prophecy. Better off without. What is the label you'd like to have? Why not chance the old one with a new? It's possible, and works miracles, as we will demonstrate as we carry on.
Henry Ford once said "Whether you believe you can or can't you are right"

4. foreseeing a preset future
Some believe that there are unique individuals that can foresee the future. Certain Stars and well known people even pay a hefty some for those foreseers whose name precedes them. What about you, do you think there's any chance you might open a prophesizing business soon? If the answer is no, then how is it that you are willing to put your life dream in stake, because you think "it has no future"? Not write because "no publicists will ever accept me", or "no one will read it"? We seldom know what will happen in a minute, not to mention a month, or a year, or more. You don't know what the future has installed for you if you make real you dream of writing, but you certainly know what's predicted for you if you choose not to write. You'll simply.. not write.

5. everything or nothing thoughts
These thought are total thoughts. Why stay writing if I'll never produce a best seller? If I don't have time to write 8 hours each day, I won't write at all. If I don't succeed, I'll never write again. If my spouse, the lecturer, a certain book publishing firm don't like it, I'll never show it to another soul, etc. these are thoughts that their whole aim is to despair and to get the wind out of your sails, even before you've started. In writing, the road is the goal, and for that it is important to set realistic goals. Like sitting an hour a day in front of the writing sheet or the computer, (and not get up, even if nothing comes out!) like writing a page a day and proceed gradually.

One of the laws of success is: You always have a choice, going on and doing it or not. Even not doing anything is a choice, The question that you have to ask your self is: Is doing nothing working for me or against me?

Now ask yourself; in the situation you are in, what you know you got to do in order for it to be better? Now go and do it!

For your success

Life Science, Get Your Child More Involved

Life science is the study of life on our planet (also referred to as biology). Life scientists observe how and why life operates in the way that it does. Life scientists are also very diverse in that some choose to study microscopic life while others study life that is now extinct. Life scientists are also doctors who look to find ways to treat diseases and cure illnesses in people that are on the earth right now.

There is likely to be a connection to life science in any interest that your child may have. If your child likes animals, animals and veterinary science are definitely a part of life science. Or perhaps your little ones are more into the make-believe characters. Life science can help to teach them the difference between what is real and what is not scientifically feasible. Life science is also a science that is filled with lots of controversy and differences of opinion. Genetics is just one example of a discipline of medicine where scientist cannot always agree on theories.

Life science is an interesting way for your child to gain an appreciation and understanding of the delicate nature of life and the fact that although life has a beginning and an end, there is the constant continuation of life through reproduction. Everything from the vegetables that we grow to the children that we nurture are born with what they need to reproduce a life of their own. Few things hold as much wonder as the potential of life.

Below are some more examples of different scientific disciplines that could be considered life sciences. Also below are short descriptions and examples of each type of science.

Molecular biology - Molecular biology looks at the fundamental chemistry of life. Molecular biology studies the interactions between cells and the effects present during different combinations of proteins and genes.

Cell biology -Cell biology looks at the cell. The cell is often referred to as the basic building block of all life because every living thing is made up of tiny cells. These cells all have unique jobs in regulating the processes the keep us alive.

Genetics - Genetics is the study of the blue prints that we are all born with and that we will pass on to our children. All terrestrial organisms use DNA and RNA-based genetic mechanisms to hold information about what we look like, how our bodies will function, etc. No two people have the exact same genetic makeup although those who are related by blood have much more similarities than those who are not related to us.

Developmental biology - The study of how life develops and reproduces. Also developmental biology encompasses how all living creatures progress intellectually and physically as life is lived.

Evolution - The study of how life came to be the way we now know it as. Perhaps one of the most controversial topics in life science, there are many differences of opinion when it comes to explaining how and if certain life forms evolved certain ways.

With so many different areas of life science to explore you may not know where to start. Do not worry, there are experiments available online that are bound to get you and your children more involved with the life sciences.

The "Miracle" Of All Water: Are You Drinking It?

Have you ever drank water offered at restaurants? Perhaps you buy bottled water containing "minerals" because of its health benefits. These are two types of hard water. With mineral water, your body will try to throw off the excess minerals which invade it as intruding foreign deposits.

Water companies are trying to sell you an image of a lush mountain spring because it "appears" to be healthy, refreshing and romantic. However, we get sufficient amounts of inorganic "minerals" from the foods we eat like fruits, grains, nuts, vegetables and legumes.

These are two types of hard water which contain excessive lime salts, carbonates and sulfates of calcium and magnesium. Sodium, iron, copper, silicon, nitrates, chlorides, viruses, bacteria, chemicals, and many other harmful inorganic minerals and chemicals may be present. This hard water comes from public water systems or private wells.

Raw water is water which has not been treated in any way, such as rain water. It may be hard or soft. Raw water contains millions of viruses and bacteria. Properly chlorinated water kills most germs and viruses, but it also kills cells in our bodies.

Boiled water removes none of the inorganic minerals, although it does kill the bacteria in raw water if boiled for 20 minutes. The dead bodies of these germs are swallowed, promoting an environment for the growth of other bacteria.

Rain water falls through air filled with bacteria, dust, smoke, chemicals, mud and minerals. By the time it reaches us, it is full of decaying matter, dirt and chemicals.

Snow water contains minerals, chemicals and radioactive fallout such as Strontium 90. Snow is just frozen rain which does not destroy bacteria. Dirt is left in the spring after the snow melts.

Filtered water is just as dangerous. There is no filter made which can prevent bacteria or viruses from passing through its fine meshes. Each pore of the finest filter is large enough for millions of germs to pass through. Bacteria are multiplied by the millions by the collected wastes at the bottom of some filters. Only chlorine, some suspended substances and many synthetic chemicals are removed through filtering.

De-ionized water can cause virus infections and is a breeding ground for bacteria and pyrogenic matter. De-ionized water does not remove synthetic chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or industrial solvents.

Distilled water is the only choice! Distilled water has been turned into vapor, and then through condensation, back again into pure water so that all its impurities are left behind. Rising vapor cannot carry minerals and other dissolved solids-it will not carry disease germs, dead or alive. It is odorless, colorless and tasteless.

Distilled Water And Weight Loss
Anyone drinking distilled water exclusively will eventually return to normal weight. Why? Hard water film imprisons the cells so tissues become water-logged. Retention of fluid is the chief cause of obesity. Distilled water breaks the cell barrier and the body weight returns to normal. Just include four to six glasses of distilled water a half hour before each meal.
Distilled Water And The Perfect Diet
Why should we grow older? We can stop the hands of time by restoring our health now. Disease does not exist without a cause that we can prevent. Cures cannot take place until the cause of the problem is removed. By restoring our digestive health beginning with distilled water, we are well on our way to an ageless, joyful and fulfilling life.

Care for a Photo Scanner

Photo scanners are a great way of converting images from traditional film and slides into digital form. A scanner can also be used to make digital images of text and small objects. Once in digital form, images are easy to manipulate, print, store, send via e-mail or publish on the internet. Proper use of a photo scanner helps to not only assure that it continues to function well into the future but can also result in better quality images.

Following just a few basic tips should preserve longevity and quality output.

* Avoid touching the glass. As with most electronic products, grease and oils can damage the glass. The presence of such smudges on the glass can also obscure the scan resulting in blurred images. It is therefore important to avoid touching the glass as much as possible.

* Keep the glass and underside of the scanner cover clean. Review the manufacturers care instructions and use only approved cleaners. In general, never apply the cleaner directly to the glass as it can leak into the inner part of the device. Instead apply the cleaner to a cloth for cleaning. Microfiber cloths are preferred as they do not scratch. The glass should be wiped free of any lint or dust with a microfiber cloth before every use.

* Assure any lint and particles are blown from originals before placing them on the scanner to assure a quality image from the scanner.

* Avoid exposure to moisture and heat. This includes assuring that anything placed on the scanner glass is not damp. Care should also be taken when placing objects on the glass to assure they do not cause scratches.

* Set the scanner so that it is level to assure proper functioning. It is also important that the device is well supported to prevent falls.

* Allow the scanner to warm up for 4 to 5 minutes before operating it.

* Before moving the scanner, be sure it is locked to prevent unnecessary movement of internal parts.

* Avoid using the scanner cover to flatten larger items, such as books and magazines against the glass. This can damage the hinges. Instead, use a small weight or a heavy book to press the item against the glass.

* Use of a surge protector is always wise with any electronics device including a photo scanner.

* Become acquainted with the manufacturer's guidelines for any maintenance. Many require professionals to do any internal cleaning.

7 Habits Successful People Have

When you take a look at some of the successful people in the world, the money they possess may blind you or the notoriety the public bestows upon them distracts your judgment. At second glance (with the exception of generational money and success), there are certain factors that have contributed to their success and popularity. With almost every successful person, there are common habits that add to their wealth or catapult them into the spotlight. The good news is - you don't have to be a millionaire to follow the same path and develop successful habits of your own.

Success usually doesn't come to people that exhibit poor habits, such as laziness, a gloomy disposition or attitude, or possess an unwillingness to learn. Instead, it is poor behaviors and practices that hold people back from achieving the success they want out of life, no matter how much they want it to happen. The desire to achieve success is simply not enough, meaning you have to match your desire with effort, determination, patience, and motivation.

When you want to achieve something, it is important to move forward towards your goals instead of falling backwards. Usually, the difference between an unsuccessful person and one who lives a minimal lifestyle is seen in the habits they form over their lifetime. Below you will find seven common habits that many successful people tend to share:

1) Passion
Successful people most often possess passion and find a reason for living in each endeavor they pursue. Anyone can embrace this habit by increasing the level of enthusiasm they possess when it comes to completing their daily tasks, as well as long-term goals they have set. Sometimes it just means becoming more excited about the things that need accomplishing.

2) Focus
When you "keep your eyes on the prize" and stay focused on your goals, you will become more of a success. This is a great way to approach the things you don't really feel like achieving, but is still necessary for your overall goals. Once you get into the habit of realizing that achieving an array of goals (even the ones you don't particularly care for) will only get you one step closer towards achieving success, the process becomes much easier.

Some individuals simply don't sweat the small stuff and completely stay focused on how the "big picture" will look in the end. A good way to stay on task is to think about how much happiness and satisfaction will come from achieving your goals, and how sweet the final results will taste.

3) Time Management
Wasting time only sets you behind in achieving the things you need to accomplish. This means making every moment count and focusing on completing the things will help achieve your overall quest. There is no reason to accept interruptions or distractions that only deter you from your goals. Successful people often ignore the potential setbacks that peers, co-workers, family, and friends are often responsible for. Anything that threatens your attention needs to step aside in order to achieve success.

4) List-Building
Successful people know what they are going to do the next day before they even go to bed. This is because individuals with proven streaks of success make a list of the tasks they must complete by the next day. Before you retire for the night, you should create a list of five to six tasks. Usually, this is arranged in order of importance. When the next day arrives, an individual may set their sights on completing the first thing on their list. The enjoyment comes when they are able to scratch it off and continue down the line. This is quite simple to achieve and helps stop procrastinating and break the habit of postponing important tasks.

5) Don't Wait
Successful people do not wait for the "perfect" time to start achieving their goals; they go straight for them and don't wait for a particular moment to surface. If they fail at their first attempt, they simply learn from their mistakes and try again. For some, the hardest part of becoming successful is reaching a starting point.

6) Keep Going
Quitters do not achieve the success they wish for themselves by letting any hardship, barrier or obstacle slow them down or stand in their way. Accomplishing something just once makes the next time much easier. For example, a weight loss journey begins with the first visit to the gym. Overall, it is important to stay unswerving in your effort.

7) Embrace Opportunity
For some, certain opportunities only come once in a lifetime. A successful person grasps each chance they receive and runs closer towards their goals. You should make it a habit to say, "yes" to the opportunities you encounter, even if you are filled with fear. In the long run, you will go much further in confirming your goals.

Overall, successful people are individuals of action, who follow their dreams without allowing anything to get in their way. No matter what task you wish to accomplish, following some of the same common habits of success will aid you in your personal quests.

Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don't over do it. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. Making the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.

Why Isn't Your Website Working Well?

One of the biggest problems that small businesses face is ineffective websites. A website is often one of the largest start-up marketing expenses for a small business; unfortunately, many small businesses never see a return on that investment.

Why do most websites have this problem? The average starter website typically:

- Is not well designed. Sometimes websites don't match the rest of your designed materials or, worse yet, are designed using a template that looks nothing like any of your other materials.

- Tries to accomplish too many things on each page.

- Has little or no information of value to your potential clients. Most websites are written all about you and your business-not them and their needs and concerns.

- Lacks calls to action. You have to give your visitors clear instructions on what to do and how to proceed.

A small business's website should perform a few basic jobs. It should:
Extend your brand. Answer your prospects' most-asked questions. Help you to grow your prospect or contact list. Convert your prospects into clients. Your site can easily do all of this and more. To get started, there are three main elements of the website that you have to address:

Content
Overall, the content, or text, on your website is the single most important element of your website. This content gives:

- Interested prospects a place to learn more about your services and to get their burning questions answered.

- Current and past clients a resource for at-their-fingertips contact information and in-depth information about your offerings.

- Internet search engines some content to index. The search engines read only the text part of your website, not the graphics. So choose a few keyword phrases, and use those throughout the text on your site. Hopefully, your keywords will help your site to rank well!

Design
The design of your website should be consistent with the rest of your brand identity and marketing materials, so that it can extend your brand identity into the online forum. Be sure to include, at the very least:

- Your Logo: This should tell the story of who you are, what you do, and what makes you different.

- Your Visual Vocabulary: This is all of the visual elements, in addition to your logo, that make up your business's look and feel. This includes the fonts, color schemes, photography, shapes, backgrounds, and other elements that you use.

It's important that your Logo and your Visual Vocabulary be used consistently throughout all of your marketing materials. If your website looks markedly different from your other materials, then people who have your printed marketing materials might feel like they've landed in the wrong place when they call up your website.

Your site should also have:
- Appealing information design: Having text content on a site is key, but your text has to be designed and laid out in such a way that it's understandable, easily readable, and compelling. Laying the information in quick bursts, such as bulleted lists, helps people to read your site quickly. And using headlines, subheads, and bold text to break up the copy can also keep visitors interested enough to read all of the text.

- Consistent navigation design: If your navigation changes from page to page, it will be difficult for visitors to find their way around the site-they can't tell where they've already been easily. Function
The average small-business website is designed as just an online brochure. But the ideal website will do something else as well, such as:

- Growing your contact list: Collecting the names of the people who visit your website and are interested in your services is a great way to create a list of contacts for your follow-up marketing (such as sending a newsletter).

- Answering visitors' questions: Including answers to their most commonly asked questions can help visitors to get instant gratification from your site. Also, having a contact form can encourage hesitant buyers to ask the questions that will help them to overcome their buying doubts and fears.

- Converting prospects into clients: Using calls to action throughout the site can help convert prospects into paying clients, as will giving visitors clear instructions on what to do next, paired with great benefits to compel them to do so.

If you address all of these main issues, then your website will be more successful than the average website. Instead of just being another ineffective marketing tool, your website will produce results, attract your target customers, and help you to close more sales.

Law Of Attraction Tools In Running Your Home Business

Have you ever wondered if there was even more you could do with the Law of Attraction and how if relates to your home business? Have you ever wondered if you are doing it right? Do you ever wonder if you can do more to tap into the Law of Attraction to help your home business grow?

There is a key thing to remember. In order to attract your ideal prospect to your home business using the Law of Attraction, then you must do something deliberate. Here are three tips that will help you do this:

1. Identify your ideal prospect. Work on building your clarity list. You must begin by building a list of what you have not liked about the prospects you have been attracting to your home business. Convert that list into what kind of qualities you would like to see in potential prospects to your home business. This is an ongoing exercise. You will want to keep this list and constantly update it. If you do this, it sets the energy in motion.

2. You must reset your vibrations before you make calls to your prospects. Referring to your list of the kinds of people you were attracting you your home business, some of those vibrations may continue to be carried over. Just by remembering what you used to attract to your home business will very likely bring more of it whether it has been positive or negative. Therefore, you will have to reset your vibrations around your prospecting, be sure that you read through your clarity list in order to refresh your memory, and then you will have to refresh your memory in order to reset your vibration just before you make your calls to your business prospects.

3. What do you do after the call? Just after you make your prospect calls, you will want to refer to you updated clarity list to ascertain how closely they matched up to your ideal prospect list. For example, if your prospects had four out of a possible fifteen desired characteristic on your clarity list, then you would devote your energy, attention and focus to the items that matched.

The more time you devote to celebrating positive matches, the more time you spend including the vibration of just how you wish your ideal home business prospect to be as far as your current vibration is concerned. Usually after meeting with a prospect who did not sign up, the home business owner spends about an hour with the negative vibrations of feeing disappointed, disillusioned, ticked off, and feeling that his or her time has been wasted. Rather than focusing on the negative thoughts, keep your mind focused on the matches in order that your vibrations will be raised.

Now you have acquired some new tools that you may use in order to attract your ideal prospects to your home business. Remember to acknowledge and celebrate the closeness of the match, and you will see a positive influence on your home business.

Increasing Sales Through Strategic Internet Marketing

In today's world, it seems that almost any topic is open for debate. While I was gathering facts for this article, I was quite surprised to find some of the issues I thought were settled are actually still being openly discussed.

Increasing Sales Through Strategic Internet Marketing

The Internet has now become an important medium for product and service advertisements. Almost every company that can afford print, radio and TV advertisements have also ventured into placing ads on the Internet.

But with millions of websites out there being visited by millions of computer users, how can you make sure that your ad can be seen by your target customers and that your leads will be followed by these users? Here are a few tips.

1. Place an ad on the websites frequented by your target customers. Before doing this, you need to define who will be your target customers. Placing an ad on sites that they usually visit will increase the possibility that your ad will gain the attention and will be followed your target customers.

Also, consider the website's search engine placement, traffic, external linking and the other ads placed on it. External linking will determine if there are other sites that link to this site. This will mean that people can get to the site where your ad is placed, even if they are browsing a different site. Check if many of your competitors have ads on this site.

2. Placing ads on some sites cost some money. However, there are also sites that can place a link to your site, product or service in exchange of having their link being displayed on your site. This is also true about the newsletters sent by site owners to its mailing list members regularly.

Also, having helpful links placed on your site and having sites link to your pages help in boosting search engine ranking. This is similar to making a statement that your site's content is important that other sites have links to your web pages.

Now that we've covered those aspects of Marketing, let's turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

3. Pay-per-click (PPC) is also a good method in Internet marketing. You will only need to pay for the ad if the link is clicked. If you prefer this method of advertisement, make sure that you are using services that set limits on daily expenses. There are also services that help you determine effective keywords and monitor the PPC results.

4. Choose your domain name wisely. It is still being debated if domain names matter when it comes to search engine placement. Whether it does or not, having product related domain names help consumers remember your domain, that they can go back to your site even without the links.

5. Make sure you have useful content on your sites. While keyword density is important in search engine placement, having useless information or annoying repetition of keywords will not increase your customer's confidence in your site. It may even affect your sites traffic and can get your site removed from search engines. So make sure that keywords are used strategically.

6. When thinking of keywords, think like your target customers. What do you think are they going to search so they can get to your site? Also, use specific keywords or key phrases. Submitting a single word or a very general phrase to a search engine will not get you to the top of the search results compared to submitting specific keywords that describe your product and services perfectly.

7. Track your ads. Always check how much you have spent on placing links on frequently visited sites and on PPC. There are services that allow you to monitor PPC transactions and how many of these end in sales. You always need to consider if the ads that you have placed on these websites are getting you to your target consumers and if these ads can lead to revenue.

One final tip on marketing products and services, sell the benefits. It will help your marketing strategies a lot if you highlight the benefits of choosing your products and services instead of merely discussing the product specifications. Product specifications may not mean much to customers, unless they know what these stand for (how these specifications affect the quality of the product or service).

Many people say getting to the top of search engine results is difficult since millions of websites exist, which can be using the same keywords. While this is true, this doesn't mean that your website has to stacked under your competitors' websites when presenting search engine results. Strategic advertising and linking, together with useful content, can also get you to the top of the search results.

The day will come when you can use something you read about here to have a beneficial impact. Then you'll be glad you took the time to learn more about Marketing.

Tips To Get Ahead In Life

The secrets to getting ahead in life and being successful are so simple that we often overlook them. Replacing a few bad habits with a few good ones can make a big difference. Try the following tips.

CHOOSE GOOD COMPANIONS
Two are better than one, and you will find it both protection and incentive if you can secure a faithful friend; and in some respects better than two are the many; therefore you cannot do more wisely than seek out a wider companionship. Whilst instructed by the information of some, and strengthened by the firmer faith or larger experience of others, there are important themes on which you will learn to think with precision.

STOP PROCRASTINATING
Mrs. Whitney says, in one of her books, that "the things which are crowded out of a life are the test of that life," and I believe that the saying is true in its widest sense. Examine our lives closely, and we shall find that we constantly delude ourselves with the idea that we would accomplish certain things if we had time, when, in truth, we have no real desire for those things. One person will say that reading is out of the question; another will bewail the impossibility of maintaining social relations; a third will avow that charitable or benevolent enterprises would delight her if she might engage in them and all the time these good people are comforting themselves with a fallacy. The things for which they do find time are the things they prefer.

The things which are crowded out are the things they would not choose if life lay unemployed before them. Scores of wives and mothers are busied constantly with their family cares, but not one in every score loves music enough to steal time for practice. Hundreds of young men are forced by stress of circumstances to work hard for daily subsistence, but only one in a thousand, perhaps, conquers the difficulty of his position, and makes a name for himself. This one might not have found his way easier or its upward steps less tiresome, but he wanted to succeed, and so wanting, let nothing needful be crowded out.

KEEP YOUR TEMPER
You will accomplish nothing by losing it. Many date their failure in business to some hasty and ill-considered statement made during a fit of temper. When things go awry, business is dull, and the prospect is dark ahead, it is very poor consolation to indulge in passionate and angry remarks to those around you. The frown on a person's face is a good indication of the state of the feelings within. The world judges us by our outward conduct and behavior, and ill-natured, cross grained men rarely become successful.

Solomon says: "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city;" "Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him." Difficulties disappear when met calmly and resolutely; they increase with ill-nature and anger. Keep your temper.

ENERGY AND COURAGE
Energy enables a man to force his way through irksome drudgery and dry details, and carries him onward and upward in every station in life. It accomplishes more than genius. Energy of will may be defined to be the very central power of character in a man - in a word, it is the Man himself. True hope is based on it - and it is hope that gives the real perfume to life. No blessing is equal to the possession of a stout heart Charles IX, of Sweden, was a firm believer in the power of will, even in a youth. Laying his hand on the head of his youngest son, when engaged upon a difficult task, he exclaimed. "He shall do it! he shall do it!"

Nothing that is of real word can be achieved without courageous working. The timid and hesitating find everything impossible, chiefly because it seems so. The Scriptural injunction, "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might", must be realized if you wish to succeed. It is pluck, tenacity, and determined perseverance which wins soldiers' battles, and, indeed, every battle. It is the one neck nearer that wins the race and shows the blood; it is the one march more that wins the campaign; the five minutes' more persistent courage that wins the fight. Though your force be less than another's, you equal and out-master your opponent if you continue it longer and concentrate it more. The reply of the Spartan father, who said to his son, when complaining that his sword was too short, "Add a step to it," is applicable to everything in life.

THE STRENGTH OF SILENCE
There is a mighty power in silence, and silence is frequently an evidence of power. There are many people so weak that they can not hold their tongues, or keep their mouths shut. One who offends not in word is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body. He who can control his tongue, can control his entire nature. Hence silence is a token of power, of reserved force. He who knows how to keep silence knows how to speak; and often his silence is more impressive than his speech.

"Brilliant flashes of silence" is by no means a senseless expression. How often have we seen the babble of the foolish hushed by the silent glance of an earnest soul; how often the ribald jest or scurrilous word has died upon the lips when an indignant silence was the only reply it could evoke. That man or that woman who can stand silent amid reproaches and accusations and sneers and scon's, shows a degree of strength and power which falls not to the lot of every one. The silent accomplish more than the noisy. The tail of the rattlesnake makes all the noise, but the head does all the execution.

IDLENESS NOT HAPPINESS
The most common error is that of looking for happiness somewhere outside of useful work. It has never yet been found when thus sought, and never will be while the world stands; and the sooner this truth is learned the better for everyone. If you doubt the proposition, glance around among your friends and acquaintances, and select those who appear to have the most enjoyment in life. Are they the idlers and pleasure-seekers, or the earnest workers? We know what your answer will be. Of all the miserable human beings it has been our fortune or misfortune to know, they were the most wretched who had retired from useful employment to enjoy themselves; while the slave at his enforced labor, or the hungry toiler for bread, were supremely happy in comparison.

7 Ways Your Opt-In List Can Generate Extra Cash

An opt-in list is a critical and important component for any kind of Internet-based business. Big, medium, small and even the very niche players can benefit from an opt-in list, as it has the capability to stuff some extra cash into their pockets. Look around the Internet yourself and scour for the big e-commerce boys - you will see that all of them, without exception, feature an opt-in list on their website.

An opt-in list is a marketing tool. You'll have seen many fields on websites that scream "Subscribe to our newsletter/product promos, etc." - these are opt-in fields where the surfer fills in his email, thereby consenting to receiving communication from that website. The website that collects the email then keeps communicating with the subscriber and keeps him updated on the topic to which he has subscribed.

As the subscriber voluntarily submits his email ID, it is understood that there is mutual consent between the website and the subscriber. This is why opt-in emails are not considered as spam mails. Opt-in lists can be effectively used to dispatch a whole number of useful and informative materials such as catalogs, newsletters and other promotional offers.

The percentage of Internet surfers who subscribe to opt-in lists is small, so therefore it is imperative that your mails to this small community must be meaningful, informative and entertaining. If your communication with your small community is run-of-the-mill, then your list will shrink. Teasers, promos, entertaining snippets and short bursts of informative news will keep them coming back to your website for more.

The prime objective of maintaining a list is to sell your products and services, and these sales will generate normal profits. You have to make some extra cash out of your list, which is highly possible, if you have a sizeable database of subscribers. Here are seven great tips on how to make extra money using your opt-in lists:

1) Sell advertisement space: Many companies want to advertise on lists that have a genuine and a sizeable database. If you have one, you can easily sell ad space on your mailings. Just one thing: Do not forget to place these ads at spots where they won't irritate your subscribers. You can place several ads in a single mailing and this can be quite a money-spinner.

2) You must tie-up with websites who dabble in products or services that are related to your industry. Then you must evolve a CPC (Cost Per Click) marketing strategy and announce it to them. If they are interested, they may place CPC links on your list and pay you only on a per-click-basis. This is also called P4P or pay for performance.

3) You can strike deals with companies who are willing to sell their products to your list on a commission basis. Even if you're only able to get a few sales, it's money for jam.

4) You can also sell other companies' products to your list on a consignment basis. Consignment sales pay more than commission-based sales and you will be expected to give these products more prominence in your newsletter, highlighting them, placing descriptions, articles and photos of the products. Again, if you are able to make a sale, it's just more jam on the bread.

5) You can also try your hand at selling digital products such as e-books. Manuals, DIY and how-to articles are in great demand and their publishers pay a hefty commission - sometimes as high as 75%! Just take care to ensure that the e-book you're going to hawk on your newsletter is related to the content.

6) Network your list. Ask people to refer their friends and relations. The larger your opt-in list, the higher your revenue will go, as sales and advertisement rates will soar.

7) Turn some of your subscribers into your partners by offering them an incentive if they are able to resell your products or services. Remember, this is Internet marketing, so the more resellers you recruit, the higher exposure you will get.

Self-Care Tips

5 Things You Can Do For Yourself

1. Ask yourself "what is it I really want out of life?
If you're reading this you're probably one of those people who put other needs before your own. Maybe you do this so often that you don't even realize your own wants and needs. It's time to find out what YOU really want for yourself so you can find joy in your life.

2. Take a Risk
We sometimes get "stuck" in a rut, doing the same things day in and day out even though we know it's not making us happy. Doing something different is scary, change is scary. So we keep on doing what we do. If you've been putting off something you really want to do because you fear the unknown, now is the time to take a risk. Get out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself and you will grow as a person.

3. Rid yourself of draining people
If you've been settling for relationships in your life where you give and give and give but never get anything in return, you're probably feel hurt and angry. If you want to take better care of YOU, get rid of those draining relationships. The "takers" will just keep taking as long as you're giving.

4. Treat Yourself The Way you Treat your Friends
As women we are very good a giving support, offering a shoulder to cry on, and caring for our friends with love and compassion. Instead of criticizing yourself or"beating yourself up", try giving yourself the same care and compassion you give to a friend. When you find that you're getting down on yourself, ask yourself "what would I say to my friend if she had this same problem".

5. Say "NO" Without Feeling Guilty
This will definitely take some practice if you have difficulty saying no. You may have to accept that not everyone will be pleased all the time but it's not your responsibility to see that they are. Like anything else, the more you do it the easier it will become. Try it the next time someone requests something of you that you really don't want to do.

The Top Ways To Stay Motivated To Get Fit

We always hear people make excuses for why they can't get in shape or why they don't exercise, so here are some tips for you to give them to help them make no more excuses.

1. Get a workout buddy or support buddy. Find someone with similar goals and to support and keep you on track with your fitness goals. I have a friend I talk to daily on messenger and she helps me stay motivated and achieve my fitness goals.

2. Set a goal for yourself. Whether it be to lose 10 lbs or fit into those size 4 jeans, set a time frame and then when you reach that goal, reward yourself with some new clothes or your favorite free meal.

3. Take pictures. Take a picture of yourself in swim suit or shorts and after a couple weeks of workouts, take another picture and compare. It's a great motivational tool when you see the results!

4. Cut out a motivational picture. Look in magazines or online and choose a body type that you would like to have. Hang it on your fridge and look at it every day. Envision yourself looking like that picture. When you are on the treadmill and getting tired, think of that picture and push yourself to work even harder to reach that goal.

5. Plan your workouts. When you make a plan to go running or lift some weights, you are more likely to actually DO them, so sit down and plan when and what workouts you want to do for a whole week.

6. Hire a personal trainer. Most of the clients I get say that the reason they have a personal trainer is to provide them with support and motivation. They say that having to be accountable to someone and having those 2-3x per week training sessions keep them motivated and determined.

Use these tips and after time, you won't need these to help you stay motivated. You will be so impressed with the way your body is transforming and that will be motivation enough to keep working hard to achieve your fitness goals!

Internet marketing - Why You Are Not Getting Enough Sales

It can happen that you are very confident about your product. You may have also taken extra effort to be sure that your web site can be navigated easily by your customers. Your domain name is also excellent but things *still* seem to be not working right.

Could there be something wrong with how you go about your business?

Is there anything else that you can implement so that you would bring more traffic and sales to your business?

The answer is YES. It's possible that you are not acting on other Internet marketing strategies, and that this is why you are not getting a good response.

Here are some tips for you to check out.

1. Learn how to gather basic information about your customers. A good web site is insufficient if you are not able to get information about the people who visit it. How can you update those potential clients with the latest from your company if you can not contact them?

2. Offer freebies. Of course, a lot of people want to get these freebies. In exchange you get their information so that you can inform them of future promotions and discounts.

3. Invite suggestions and feedback from your customers. This is one way you can improve your web site or your products. Once you have heard their opinions, make a study and implement changes.

4. Have regular surveys. These surveys are very helpful especially if you are expanding with a new product. You can even get your customers to create a product for you (from their suggestions and requests). You can then be sure they will support you.

Ways To Relieving Eye Strain

Eye strain associated with computer use isn't thought to have serious or long-term consequences, but it's disruptive and unpleasant. Eye strain occurs when you over-use your eye muscles. Any muscle held in one position too long will strain. More than 50 percent of computer users experience eyestrain, headaches, blurred vision and other visual symptoms related to sustained use of the computer. This type of stress on the visual system can also cause body fatigue and reduced efficiency at work. Generally speaking the most common cause of eye strain is from overuse. There are a small number of causes which can result in people suffering from Eye strain and sometimes accompanied by headaches. When used for concentrated work there is a tendancy to blink less frequently. This leads to drying of the eyes resulting in a burning or pricking sensation.

Eyestrain is a common complaint of office workers, made more common in recent years by the widespread use of video display terminals (VDTs). The main problems that cause eyestrain and associated headache include hyperopia is where the light is focused behind the retina and consequently the image is blurred close up. Hyperopia is corrected by spectacles or contact lenses. Astigmatism is another type of visual defect and can accompany myopia or hyperopia. Astigmatism is when the cornea is not a perfect spherical shape so that images will be more blurred in some particular directions. Astigmatism may cause a blurring of objects at all distances and even a tendency for the person to squint in order to improve vision. Astigmatism is also correctable with spectacles and contact lenses. Presbyopia is another type of eye condition and frequently occurs with the ageing process.

Eye-Ease Tips

1. Computer glasses that focus at the right distance for the computer screen.

2. Wearing contact lenses --- corrected for computer or reading distance in one eye, and for far distance (if needed) in the other eye.

3. To reduce glare, position your VDT so that neither you nor the screen faces a window. If necessary, use a hood or glare-reduction screen.

4. To lessen strain on eye muscles, keep your VDT screen 18 to 28 inches from your eyes, and no higher than eye level when you're seated in your chair.

5. Use dimmer lighting around your VDT. Dim lighting reduces glare and makes the screen easier to read.

6. Adjust the screen's brightness and contrast controls for your best comfort.

7. If your screen has color options, choose those easiest on your eyes.

8. Nutrition is also very important for reducing eye strain.

9. Try to avoid eye drops if you can.

10. Take the Rest-Simple one-minute eye excercises can reduce eye fatigue.
